Our Comprehensive RV Inspections aim to give our client an accurate assessment of the state of the coach at the time of inspection, to aid in decision making during the buying process.

Our Story

American Freedom Mobile Lifestyle is a Veteran and Family Owned Company.

After retiring from a 20 year career in the United States Marine Corps, Mike looked for more ways to serve his community.

After careful consideration and lots of prayer, Mike decided to open his own home inspection business.

In 2018 Krystal received her ASHI Home Inspection certification and joined Mike as part of the team.

In 2019, after seasons of change, we made a choice to pursue RV life as a family traveling fulltime on the road with our children.

Our goal was to create amazing memories and foster the dream of American Freedom even further in our children.

With this in mind, and the excellent experience and training available, our family branched out from exclusively home inspecting, to RV inspections, maintenance and repairs.

We are now certified under NRVIA, RVTAA, RVIA, and many additional RV Industry partner manufacturers including Lippert, Aquahot, and more!

WHAT IS AN RV INSPECTION?

A certified inspection is one that is, first of all, accomplished by an unbiased individual who has no financial interest in the outcome of the inspection; like our NRVIA certified inspectors at American Freedom Mobile Lifestyle.

Secondly, it is a detailed investigation of the current condition of the RV by an Inspector who has been trained in the science of RV inspection, to provide a report of the current condition of the RV.

The report from American Freedom Mobile Lifestyle will consist of numerous sections to include all of the life safety elements within an RV, structure, plumbing and electrical.

Photos will also be included to support the report providing confirmation of the findings.

At American Freedom Mobile Lifestyle, we strive for excellence in the in-person follow up with our clients, of the inspection findings.

We take great pride in delivering an extremely detailed digital report that is both easy to read and understand.

We remain available to our clients for further review of any questions the report may bring.

HOW LONG DOES AN RV INSPECTION TAKE?

A typical inspection should take about 6-8 hours to complete.

This can vary, given the current condition and size of the unit, the accessibility of mechanical systems, and the availability of utility hookups.

WHAT DO YOU EXAMINE?

We inspect the major systems of the RV unit.

These include the Roof, Exterior, Structure, Electrical, Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Appliances, and Interior.

Our goal is to identify any existing major problems that would affect a typical buyer's decision to purchase.

CAN I FOLLOW ALONG?

Definitely!

We encourage you to attend your inspection!

We have found that the last 30 minutes or so for the inspection briefing is the most valuable learning experience for prospective buyers.

DO I GET A WRITTEN REPORT?

You do receive a written report.

It would be unfair to ask you to remember all of the things we cover during a RV inspection.

The report includes a summary of the condition of the unit and details on all the major systems.

It is delivered within 24 hours after the inspection.

HOW MANY DAYS NOTICE DO I NEED TO GIVE YOU FOR AN INSPECTION REQUEST?

Our RV inspection team is ready to serve you quickly.

However, when the sale of a RV unit is conditional on the results of an RV inspection, we recommend that you allow at least five business days to arrange for an inspection.

The entire process from scheduling, to preparation for the unit for the inspection, on site inspection, and delivery of report should take this approximate amount of time.

Our comprehensive approach to inspections requires the appropriate amount of time needed for our customers to receive the best product possible.

WHAT TYPES OF RV'S DO YOU REPAIR?

We work on a large variety of RV's, including: motorhomes, fifth wheels, travel trailers, toy haulers, truck campers, park models, overlanders, and MHU's.

WHAT TYPES OF REPAIRS DO YOU PROVIDE?

Our repairs are specialized for our mobile RV clients, and have limitations only with the ability to perform the repairs on the site the unit is housed on.

We specialize in A/C, refrigeration, slide-outs, leveling systems, water systems, electrical, plumbing, furnace, RV upgrades and accessories and more!

DO YOU WORK WITH WARRANTY?

American Freedom Mobile Lifestyle is authorized to work with several RV manufacturer's warranty processes.

In addition to the manufacturer warranties, we do offer a consultation to our clients to assist in finding the best option for their repair costs. Often this can include extended warranties and insurance. This is a case by case basis.

WHEN DO I NEED TO CALL A TECHNICIAN?

The decision to call a certified RV Technician is solely within the RV owner's personal choice.

American Freedom Mobile Lifestyle, however, is a business that loves educating our RV owner-customers on many routine maintenance items that can be done without calling a certified RV technician.

We have several RV Owner's schools we recommend for basic RV ownership safety and maintenance needs.

We also enjoy facilitating many RV rallies teach-and-talk events, to help further educate our RV owner friends and neighbors on basic RV care, so they can have a better experience out adventuring!

HOW LONG WILL THE REPAIR TAKE?

RV Repairs can only be performed with the correct diagnosis, the correct parts and tools, the appropriate amount of time to get parts in stock, and the ability to perform the repair on site safely and with enough time.

This can vary greatly for each RV repair need.

We do our best, however, to get our client's repairs done in a timely manner to get them back to doing what they love!

DO YOU WORK WITH RV RENTAL COMPANIES FOR MOBILE REPAIRS?

This is also on a case by case basis, as many RV rental companies rely on individual agreements between them and each of their rental clients in terms of who will be responsible for any repairs needed to a rented RV while traveling.
